CTV Attribution Setup with AppsFlyer

A step-by-step guide for advertisers to configure AppsFlyer MMP for Connected TV campaign attribution with Bidease.

This setup is exclusively for Connected TV campaigns — do not reuse these links in mobile UA.

CTV has no device IDs. All attribution is probabilistic, using IP matching and VTA only.

Tracking links must use OneLink URLs to handle both Android and iOS installs from CTV.

STEP-BY-STEP SETUP

6 Steps to Go Live

Integrate Postbacks

Required if you have never sent postbacks to Bidease before. Must be completed for both iOS and Android.

Navigate to Collaborate → Partner Marketplace and search for Bidease

■

Enable the integration and configure postback events for iOS

■

Repeat the same configuration for Android

Already integrated? If you're already running mobile UA campaigns with Bidease through AppsFlyer, you can skip this step and move to Step 2.

Create a Cross-Platform Attribution OneLink Template

A dedicated OneLink template with cross-platform support is required before generating your CTV tracking links.

■

Go to Engage → OneLink Management in your AppsFlyer account

■

Create a new OneLink template (or edit an existing one dedicated to CTV)

■

Enable Cross-platform attribution within the template settings

■

Save the template and note down the Template ID for use in tracking links

Important: Do not reuse a OneLink template that is already in use for mobile UA campaigns. CTV requires its own dedicated template.

Create the Attribution Link (OneLink Type)

Generate your CTV impression tracking link using the OneLink template from Step 2, with all required Bidease parameters.

In the Bidease Integration tab, click Attribution Link

■

Set the link type to Use OneLink and select your CTV OneLink template

■

Leave Deep linking unchecked — it is not supported for CTV campaigns

■

Confirm all required macros and parameters are included in the link (see below)

Configure the View-Through Attribution Window

CTV uses impression-only attribution (VTA). You need to set up a view-through tracking link with cross-platform toggled on.

In the Attribution Link settings, scroll to the View-Through Attribution section

■

Toggle Cross-platform attribution ON — this is mandatory for CTV

■

Confirm that af_xplatform=true and af_xplatform_vt_lookback parameters are automatically added

■

Set the VTA lookback window (recommended: 24 hours)

Note on install timing: Even with a 24-hour VTA window, over 90% of installs typically occur within the Equal Attribution window (6 hours). Longer windows help capture stragglers without impacting quality.

Enable Equal Priority for Cross-Platform Impressions

This ensures CTV view-through events carry the same attribution weight as clicks from standard mobile campaigns.

■

Go to the Integration tab for your Bidease integration in AppsFlyer

■

Find the Cross-platform section and turn on Cross-platform equal attribution priority

■

Set the Equal Attribution Priority lookback window (recommended: 6 hours)

■

Click Save Integration

AppsFlyer vs Adjust: With AppsFlyer, CTV and mobile clicks are treated equally within the attribution window. If you use Adjust, Priority Attribution gives CTV views higher priority over mobile clicks — confirm your preferred behavior with your Bidease account manager.

Save & Share the View-Through Tracking Link

Final step — save your configured link and share it with your Bidease account manager to activate your CTV campaign.

■

Review all settings one final time (OneLink template, VTA window, cross-platform toggle, parameters)

■

Click Save to register the view-through tracking link

■

Copy the generated OneLink impression URL

■

Share the link with your Bidease account manager along with your iOS and Android app IDs
